Andreas Vollenweider began working on this project with British producer Andy Wright (Eurhythmics, Simply Red, Jeff Beck, Simple Minds, Sinead O'Connor, among others) already at the end of 2010. In 2023 , Andreas Vollenweider & Friends return to a small concert tour after many years.
Vollenweider was born in 1953 and is the son of Hans Vollenweider (1918-1993), an organist and composer. Andreas grew up in a creatively diverse and inspiring environment. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, he searches for ‘his’ instrument.
