Alphaville é um bairro nobre dos municípios de Barueri e Santana de Parnaíba, no estado de São Paulo. Idealizado pelos engenheiros Yojiro Takaoka e Renato Albuquerque, sócios da empresa Albuquerque Takaoka [2], é considerado como a primeira tentativa de se criar artificialmente um bairro de grandes proporções no Brasil.

Alphaville – niemiecki zespół muzyczny powstały w 1982 w Münsterze, grający muzykę opartą na syntezatorach, z pogranicza rocka i synth popu, nawiązującą do stylów new romantic i rocka elektronicznego. Nazwę grupy zaczerpnięto z filmu Jean-Luc Godarda Alphaville (1965).
Alphaville on saksalainen yhtye, joka oli uransa huipulla ja suosiossa 1980-luvun puolivälissä. Yhtyeen tunnetuimmat hittikappaleet ovat ”Big In Japan” sekä ”Forever Young” [1] . Suurelle yleisölle sopivien hittien jälkeen yhtyeen tyyli muuttui epäkaupallisemmaksi ja taiteellisemmaksi.

Le nom du groupe est choisi en référence au film Alphaville, une étrange aventure de Lemmy Caution de Jean-Luc Godard sorti en 1965 .
