Alone in the Universe is the thirteenth studio album by British rock band Electric Light Orchestra, and the first credited to Jeff Lynne's ELO. Erst viele Jahre später lud der BBC-Radio-DJ Chris Evans Lynne in seine Show ein, wo er ihn mit Unterstützung der Hörer aufforderte, wieder einmal auf Tour zu gehen.

25 de sept. de 2015 · Wenn dies geschieht wird "Alone in the Universe" zu einem wundervollen Klangerlebnis, ich hatte das Gefühl als ob JEFF LYNNE mich in eine Zeitmaschine gesetzt und in die 80er katapultiert hätte. "Alone in the Universe" ist ein hunderprozentiges JEFF LYNNE-Album geworden, bei dem der Altmeister nichts dem Zufall überlassen hat.
