I remedied that quickly after hearing Elvis wrap his comforting voice around this gorgeous song with the odd original title of "Hot Burrito #1."

  2. Hace 3 días · To paraphrase myself from a couple days ago, if the only accomplishment of this song was to introduce listeners to Gram Parsons and the Flying Burrito Brothers, then EC succeeded. But I think there's a second accomplishment: other than the pub rock of the opener, this is the first song that sounds like the Attractions. 4/5.

This month's mix is heavy on songs from movie soundtracks and members of The Velvet Underground. Looking past the first third of this mix, the rest of it is pretty mellow. It's very punk and new-wave heavy in the front.
