  4. Scholarships for our Senior School reward excellence across a wide range of disciplines and are open to children of all backgrounds, regardless of their financial circumstances. Scholarships (which can be worth up to a maximum of £5,000 per year and are not means-tested) may also be awarded in conjunction with bursaries.

    The enterprising Edward Alleyn 1619. Our school’s origins can be traced back to Edward Alleyn in 1619. Edward Alleyn was a famous Elizabethan actor and contemporary of Shakespeare and Marlowe, who led ‘My Lord Admiral's Men', a celebrated company of players, and owned the Rose Theatre and the Bear Pit on Bankside, and the Fortune Theatre in Cripplegate.
