Allan Schwartzberg. The love of drums/drumming was a classic epiphany. On my way to school at age of 10, I walked by a house where someone was playing a Cozy Cole-like drum solo much like Topsy Part 2. It was life altering, as if a force reached inside me and turned on a switch to put me in a trance that never left.
Allan Schwartzberg. Born December 28, 1942 in New York City, USA. Most of whose recordings were made in the 1970s. He has played on hits such as Gloria Gaynor 's "Never Can Say Goodbye", and Carol Douglas ' "Midnight Love Affair", he has played with Kiss, James Brown and Peter Gabriel as well. He also was the drummer of the band Mountain in 1974.
