All Sides Now is an album by guitarist Pat Martino which was recorded in 1996–97 and first released on the Blue Note label. The album pairs Martino with notable guitarists from across the musical spectrum.
In 1997, he worked with Pat Martino on the album All Sides Now and King Biscuit Flower Hour by the Greg Kihn Band. Also in 1997, Satriani recorded the album Merry Axemas Volume 1 with Steve Vai , Alex Lifeson , and Joe Perry .

Early in his career he worked as a guitar instructor, with many of his former students achieving fame, including Steve Vai , Larry LaLonde , Rick Hunolt, Kirk Hammett , Andy Timmons , Charlie Hunter , Kevin Cadogan , and Alex Skolnick .

1 de oct. de 1997 · "Ellipsis" is a totally negligible duet between Martino and rock guitar great Joe Satriani. Satriani is in the wrong neighborhood and the song never gets off the ground. These guys sounded as though they didn't want to be there but perhaps the producer's thought it was a novel approach?
