The Holloways were an English four-piece indie rock band from North London. Their single "Generator" reached number 14 in the UK Singles Chart on 11 June 2007. They have had five No.1 singles on the UK Indie Chart and several Top 40 singles.
16 de oct. de 2014 · Former frontman of The Holloways, Alfie Jackson, has paid tribute to his bandmate, guitarist Rob Skipper, who passed away earlier this month at the age of 28.
Alfie Jackson is a songwriter, artist and producer. Formerly the frontman of British indie darlings The Holloways, Alfie had great success with songs such as Generator and Two Left Feet. More recent co-writes include “Fire” with Barns Courtney which has been synced extensively in the US on NBA, Miller, VW and on the Bradley Cooper movie “Burnt”.
