Advance is the second studio album by British electronic music duo LFO, released 29 January 1996 by Warp.The album peaked at number 44 on the UK Albums charts and was the final album to feature Gez Varley before he left the group shortly after its release. Advance was followed up with Sheath in 2003 with only contributions from Bell.
Definitely an "Advance" on their first LP, "Frequencies" in style, production, originality with a different atmosphere all while being instantly recognizable as LFO. Don't get me wrong, Frequencies is stunning bleep techno, Advance is an improvement in a different direction.

29 de ene. de 1996 · LFO one of my favorites. Until the year of the dissolution, in 1996, the group was composed of Gez Varley and Mark Bell. In 2003, Bell has reformed the project as one member after the name LFO. The group is considered one of the pioneers of the bass-heavy techno music.
