Save Ferris is an American ska punk band formed circa 1995 in Orange County, California, United States. Their name is a reference to the 1986 film Ferris Bueller's Day Off.In 1995, the band began to perform underground venues in Southern California. In 1996, the band won a Grammy showcase award for best unsigned band and a contract with Epic Records.
Los Pantalones members Brian Mashburn (guitar/vocals), Bill Uechi (bass), Eric Zamora (saxophone), and José Castellaños (trumpet) joined with singer Adrienne Nolff, Nuckle Brothers trombonist Jesse Tunnell, and drummer Steve Cordero[5] to form the original Save Ferris.

É Geno, que saiu de seu 1º álbum e é uma homenagem a um cantor de soul chamado Geno Washington.E o curioso é que o nome da banda, nesta faixa, tinha um apóstrofo (uma aspa) antes do "esse". Ficando assim: Dexy's. Se dissolveu em 1986.
