Adil Ray OBE (Punjabi: عادل رے, born 26 April 1974) is a British actor, comedian and radio/television presenter. Ray stars in the BBC One comedy Citizen Khan, which he created and co-writes, as well as presenting on various BBC radio stations.
Adil Ray is a British-Pakistani comedian and media personality, best known for creating and starring in the sitcom Citizen Khan. He has also appeared in Ackley Bridge, Bellamy's People, and various documentaries and shows on BBC networks.
Citizen Khan is a British sitcom produced by the BBC and created by Adil Ray. It ran for five series, from 2012 to 2016. It is set in Sparkhill, South Birmingham, described by its lead character, a British Pakistani man Mr Khan (Ray), as "the capital of British Pakistan".

10 de jun. de 2016 · Adil Ray, the creator of Citizen Khan, has been honoured for his services to broadcasting in the Queen's Birthday Honours. He dedicated the award to his parents and paid tribute to his namesake, the boxer Muhammad Ali, who died on the same day.
