22 de dic. de 2014 · Adiemus consists of the Welsh composer Karl Jenkins and his Finnish "Adiemus Singers". The session singer Miriam Stockley performed the vocal parts on the first four albums. Additional vocals were provided by Mary Carewe on all but Dances of Time, which saw the introduction of the Finnish Adiemus Singers (who would later reappear on Vocalise).

Elk Adiemus -album is een verzameling nummers met harmonieuze vocale melodieën tegen een orkestrale achtergrond. Adiemus can perhaps most conveniently be summarized as a "new age" or "progressive" Karl Jenkins musical project started in the mid nineties. Karl Jenkins is the composer, conductor and all-around nexus of the ensemble, with a loose, evolving collection of singers and orchestral backing. Vocalists Miriam Stockley and Mary Carewe, helped to create the vocal sound has become their trademark.
