Synopsis. The ever-glamorous and self-indulgent Edina Monsoon (Jennifer Saunders) and Patsy Stone (Joanna Lumley) are now in their 60s; Edina is still running her PR agency in London, which is quickly running out of money and interest. 22 de jul. de 2016 · The adventure of "Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie" is better left unspoiled for what comes after Moss' hilarious disappearance, but it is filled with cameos (from Emma Bunton to the highly-applauded Joan Collins) in each set piece.It's a focused crowd-pleaser that loves the audience back, even if its comedy is more consistently amusing than laugh-out-loud funny.

Leuk weetje daarover is weer dat de komedieserie ontstond uit een sketch van French & Saunders , waarbij de personages anders heetten maar het concept van een volwassen dochter en een kinderlijke moeder al aanwezig was.
