Heart of the Matter. Herbert Jansch was a Scottish folk singer, songwritter & guitarist widely known as a founding member of the band Pentangle. This album, one of my favourites, is a folk & blues affair based on acoustic guitar's non-standard tunings, a technique that was the hallmark of his sound.
