A Passion to Kill plot. David Lawson is a successful Beverly Hills psychiatrist. He becomes obsessed with his best friend Jerry's newlyweds. The mysterious Diana senses David's interest and lets herself be seduced by him. When Jerry finds out, he wants to divorce Diana. However, it does not come to that, because Jerry is brutally murdered.
