Synopsis. Set in an undeterminate year of the 1940s, Ralphie Parker ( Peter Billingsley) is a nine year-old boy living in the small town of Hohman, Indiana. His older self (voice of Jean Shepherd) narrates his experiences and thoughts through the short weeks before Christmas.
