19 de jun. de 2012 · For $1900 I sure would get second opinion. What is wrong with the shaft? Those never fail, but CV joints on 4M are weak point. CV joint has to be bought with the axle and that cost well above $1000 at dealer, but aftermarket offers $300 replacement. I do have OEM used CV joints in case you'd need it.
1 de ene. de 2024 · Question is can i use the complete axle on my 300GD (VIN 4603232702330)? I know i will have to convert the diff inners to suit front diff or convert front diff to 5.33. Teh other option is to fit the inner parts of the existing rear axle to the new tube. From what i can gather the axles are older than the ones on my 300GD.
