  4. I believe in all the years I've been doing the 30 Days, this is only the second 30 Days show I attended (though I missed at least the first year of 30 Days, so I could be wrong.) I live in Michigan, which in the day wasn't a hotbed of Deadhead life, so I didn't really know about touring Deadheads and only got to shows when the band came to Michigan, which wasn't even every tour.

The first three songs coming out of "Space" were quite standard in their positioning, but everyone at the Knick this night was surprised when they followed "Throwing Stones" with the "Playing In The Band" reprise, closing the "Playing In The Band" they'd played at opening night of this three night run in Albany. Winner.
