1 de ene. de 2004 · This was the top of the line for Schwinn in 1941, wearing much of the late 30’s accessories that are so popular, such as the cross-bar with Stewart Warner speedometer and fender-bomb reflector. Dual Expander brakes make it stop, and twin Seiss headlights light the way. Currently owned by Bruce Stewart in Hawaii.

20 de feb. de 2001 · 1941 Schwinn Built LaSalle Autocycle. I recently acquired this from a friend. Its what I believe it to be a 41′ Schwinn . has a few 41′ only things on it but has a “F” serial making it a 40′. Any more info would be great.
The 1941 Autocycle saw the introduction of the “big” feather guard and the newer style cantilever tank both of which would be used after the war and until the end of the Schwinn balloon tire bikes. This is an original paint bike with an uncommon color combination of two-tone blue with gold pinstripes. Owner: Shawn Sweeney.
