The World Is Not Enough is a 1999 spy film, the nineteenth in the James Bond series produced by Eon Productions and the third to star Pierce Brosnan as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. It was directed by Michael Apted, from an original story and screenplay by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, and Bruce Feirstein. [3]

The World Is Not Enough (titulada El mundo nunca es suficiente en España y 007: El mundo no basta en Latinoamérica) es la decimonovena película de la serie de James Bond, y la tercera protagonizada por Pierce Brosnan como el agente del MI6 James Bond 007.
Tras la muerte del magnate británico del petróleo Sir Robert King en un atentado en el cuartel general del MI6, su hija Elektra hereda sus fabulosos yacimientos petrolíferos del mar Caspio. El agente 007, que se siente culpable de la muerte de King, se convierte en el guardaespaldas de Elektra.
