18 de jun. de 1993 · This EP is a must for fans of early "echolyn". It's exactly in the vein of their 1995 masterpiece "As The World", which still is my favorite album of this outstanding prog band. By the way, Tom Hyatt's fretless bass performance is kick ass!

However, the '...And Every Blossom' EP is a highlight of the album for me. The acoustic element of the music shows a side of Echolyn we don't hear as often. The new versions of classic songs are fine, but my favorite is "Suffocating the Bloom 2000," which underwent a massive transformation.

With this lineup, Echolyn recorded a second album, Suffocating the Bloom, and a four-song EP, ...And Every Blossom, and with these releases attracted the attention of Sony Music. In 1994, Echolyn was signed to a multi-album deal on Sony's Epic Records label with their major-label debut, As the World , released in March 1995.
