WELCOME TO RIDDLESDOWN. We are delighted to introduce you to Riddlesdown Collegiate. Working as part of The Collegiate Trust we enjoy the autonomy to make the very best provision for your child, delivering the Trust’s ambition of Exceptional Education for All.
Curriculum. The purpose of Riddlesdown Collegiate’s curriculum is to engage and inspire students through an extensive range of relevant, challenging and thought-provoking learning opportunities.
English at Riddlesdown - A Rationale. Visiting and Revisiting Themes and Concepts. Although the range of ideas that writers explore is vast, our curriculum selections return to the same core concepts from Year 7 to year 13. This allows students to build and develop vocabulary, knowledge and confidence in specific areas of knowledge over time.
http://www.riddlesdown.org. Riddlesdown Collegiate (formerly Riddlesdown High School) is a secondary school with academy status located in the Riddlesdown area of the London Borough of Croydon, UK. It is a coeducational school, of between 1800 and 2000 students (400 of those being post–16 students) [citation needed].
Year 7 students join one of our Colleges – Aquila, Orion, Pegasus or Phoenix – where strong relationships and a clear identity foster outstanding learning. Post-16 students join College VI whilst the Creative and Performing Arts (CPA) College provides specialist teaching and facilities across the Collegiate in Art, Drama, Dance, Design ...
Examinations. Examinations are key markers through the development of a student’s education. Through a programme of Internal Examinations across Year Groups, and detailed advice and guidance which build toward Public Examinations, we ensure students are as confident and comfortable as possible with the practical elements of how Examinations work.
