  2. 18 de sept. de 2023 · R.N. to B.S. in Nursing. The R.N. to B.S. program prepares graduates for general practice in acute care, community-based and other settings with diverse populations. This program is an option for licensed registered nurses with a diploma or associate degree from a college or university with institutional accreditation.

  3. The School of Nursing originated in 1893 as part of the University College of Medicine. Since then, the educational program has evolved from a basic diploma program to multiple programs at the baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral degree levels.

  4. The School of Nursing offers a traditional curriculum in the baccalaureate program as well as the online R.N.-B.S. completion. Successful completion of curricular requirements results in a Bachelor of Science degree.

  5. School of Nursing. This is the preliminary (or launch) version of the 2024-2025 VCU Bulletin. Courses that expose students to cutting-edge content and transformative learning may be added and notification of additional program approvals may be received prior to finalization.

  6. The School of Nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University offers academic programs from the baccalaureate to doctoral level. Established in 1893, the School is part of a leading academic health sciences center on the Medical College of Virginia (MCV) Campus.
