After serving a 15-year prison sentence for murder, Tommy is released in 1986 and resumes work in Vice City, a fictional city based on Miami. However, he is soon tasked with recovering the stolen goods from an ambushed drug deal.
The film sees Mr. Blonde released from prison after loyally doing time for his crime family, as Tommy did after the "Harwood Incident". Tommy later performs contract killings for a 'Mr. Black', whilst he is referred to as 'Mr. Teal' (as Mr. Black believed Tommy to be the deceased Leo Teal ).
In October 2002, he provided the voice of Tommy Vercetti for the 2002 video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. He appeared in the television drama ER in 2004, playing Charlie Metcalf in the episode " Time of Death ".
