Val Falvey, TD is an Irish television sitcom, created and written by Arthur Mathews and Paul Woodfull, and produced by Deadpan Pictures for RTÉ.
The series stars Ardal O'Hanlon as Val Falvey, a newly elected as a representative, a Teachta Data, in the lower house of the Irish parliament, the Dáil Éireann. He inherited his seat representing the Midlands region from his father, and finds himself out of his depth in the world of politics.

Val Falvey (Ardal O'Hanlon) is a recently elected TD who lives just outside of the small town of Kilmehill - somewhere in the Midlands. He has inherited the seat from his late father, who represented the constituency for 25 years while Val pursued his chosen career of auctioneering (a business also handed down to him by his father).
