The Great Radio Controversy es el segundo álbum de la banda de rock estadounidense Tesla, lanzado al mercado por el sello discográfico Geffen Records el 1 de febrero de 1989. Las canciones combinan metal de los años ochenta con algunos elementos del blues, así como Power ballad.
2 de oct. de 2012 · Ya en su debut con “Mechanical Resonance” (1986) mostraron muy buenas maneras, el sonido del grupo recupera un poco el espíritu hard rockero setentero de grupos como UFO o Great White, con algún toque mas bluesy y también incursión de acústicas en plan vaquero.
En el caso de Tesla no hay duda de que sus tres primeros discos son los mejores y es, para mí, en este The Great Radio Controversy donde encontramos a los Tesla más inspirados. Se trata de un disco perfecto, sin fisuras y donde no sobra absolutamente nada.
