5 de ago. de 2009 · Ray Gillen es el encargado de dar cuerpo al siguiente pelotazo Flesh and blood otro clásico por su gran base guitarrera y la impresionante voz de este por desgracia fallecido cantante (del que podeis disfrutar en grabaciones con Badlands y alguna demo por ahí de Black Sabbath de la era “Eternal idol”.).
Sacred Groove is a George Lynch album from 1993. It contains a diverse range of tracks from different styles of music, for example, the instrumental 'Tierra Del Fuego' has a significant Latin feel to it. There are four instrumentals and six songs on the US release.
16 de abr. de 2015 · “Flesh and Blood”, contender for best track on the album, is the first vocal, featuring Badlands’ Ray Gillen (R.I.P.). It’s a Dokken stomper for sure, but with Ray Gillen’s bluesy Coverdale-isms all over it.
2 de ene. de 2009 · Tras la marcha por problemas de drogas del gran Glenn Hughes que grabara el Seventh star, Black Sabbath ficharía al estupendo Ray Gillen (Badlands, George Lynch en un tema de su Sacred groove, entre otros) para concluir la gira de dicho album.
7 de mar. de 2010 · GEORGE LYNCH -Sacred Groove - (1993) Una vez alejado de Don Dokken , casi a fine de los 80´s, George decide armar su propio proyecto Lynch Mob , con el que edita un pare de discos más que interesantes, incluso por sobre el nivel que había logrado Don con su Up From the Ashes (al que también le dedicamos su espacio en este blog).

Up until then Ray had been something more of a high-school jock type, not a particularly focused student or musician, perhaps, but a gifted athlete to be certain.
