23 de abr. de 2023 · Herschel Dwellingham, whose drumming provided the funky underpinnings for Weather Report’s third album, Sweetnighter, passed away on April 16. He was 77 years old. I got to know Herschel while researching my book Elegant People: A History of the Band Weather Report.
Herschel is presently CEO of Bogalusa Music Group LLC, Magic City Records and Tik Records, and is co-owner of Black Lace Productions with Marlena Holt (Molly Holt of The Rascals), all based in Bogalusa, Louisiana.
