Billy Lovelady. Billy Nolan Lovelady was born in Myrtle Springs, Texas, on 19th February, 1937. He worked as a farm labourer until finding employment in the Texas School Book Depository in December, 1961. On 22nd November, 1963, Lovelady was working on the 6th Floor of the Texas School Book Depository.

From the cameras’ point of view, the figure is standing to the left of the man in the Altgens photograph who has been identified as Billy Lovelady. The figure’s right arm appears to be raised across its chest, which has earned it the name ‘Prayer Man’.
There are only two possibilities for Doorman's identity, even theoretically, and they are Lee Harvey Oswald and Billy Nolan Lovelady, who was another TSBD worker. Nobody is suggesting that it may have been a third person, perhaps an anonymous stranger who was walking by.
