La caverna de Quiocta. Ubicada a una hora y media de Lámud, en la región de Amazonas, es uno de los atractivos más visitados del nororiente peruano. Se trata de un conjunto de cuevas cuyo interior alberga pozos naturales, vestigios preíncas, grabados rupestres y restos óseos.

18 de ene. de 2021 · Ñaupa Iglesia is a an Inca sacred place, or w’aka, near Pachar (between Ollantaytambo and Urubamba) in the Sacred Valley of Peru. Although out-of-the-way, the small site is well worth visiting not only for it’s exquisite carvings and architecture, but for its overall design and mood.
In the Peruvian highlands, a bit off the gringo trail and away from other popular attractions, is Peru’s most famous cave and one of the largest in all the Americas, Gruta de Huagapo, located just outside of Tarma City.

The most famous Inca site in Peru is Machu Picchu, but there are literally thousands of hidden ruins scattered throughout the diverse country. Many of theses sacred places lay hidden on top of high-altitude mountains, have been reclaimed by the jungle and nature, or are too far off the beaten track to ever be found.
