  3. Completed your graduate degree in Fall 2023, Winter 2024, or plan to complete your degree in Spring or Summer 2024. Complete the Commencement Registration form. Registration is open beginning on April 2, 2024 and closes May 23, 2024. Fulfill all degree requirements before the end of the summer 2024 quarter: Friday, September 6th, 2024.

  4. Registration to All Campus Commencement, undergraduate college, professional school, and Division of Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs ceremonies is now closed. To request a late registration exception for your college ceremony, please email commencement@ucsd.edu.

  5. Applying to Graduate. Graduation is the completion of all requirements and official posting of a student's degree to their academic record. Students must file a Degree and Diploma Application (DDA) to initiate this process.

  6. Graduation. File your Degree and Diploma Application (DDA) by Friday of Finals Week of your graduating quarter. The last day to file for Summer graduation is the last day of Summer Session II. Missing the deadline or filing for the wrong quarter of graduation may delay processing of your degree.
