Several years after the 2013 reunion, Mott the Hoople lost two of its founding members: Dale Griffin died on 17 January 2016 at the age of 67, and Overend Watts died on 22 January 2017 at the age of 69. 2018 dates. In February 2018, it was announced that Mott the Hoople would be playing several European dates in the summer of 2018.
