That’s using science’s standards for declaring strong certainty to instil excessive doubt in bodies of evidence.
4 de feb. de 2022 · Our article tilts focus toward the issue of uncertainty not because we think uncertainty is more important than trustworthiness, but because we believe that scientific analyses of uncertainty deserve increased attention in science education.
Two key factors that contribute to science’s inherent uncertainty are the complexity of natural phenomena and human limitations. Although the challenges posed by these two factors can be somewhat mitigated by way of scientific methods of investigation and the use of precise mathematical formulations, neither can be fully done away with.
