Julián Fernando Casablancas (Nueva York, Estados Unidos, 23 de agosto de 1978) [1] es un cantante, músico, vocalista y compositor estadounidense conocido por ser el Líder de The Strokes y de The Voidz. También trabajó como solista durante el hiatus del grupo, durante el que publicó el álbum Phrazes for the Young el 3 de noviembre de 2009.
Casablancas released a solo studio album, Phrazes for the Young, in 2009, and has released two albums with the experimental rock band the Voidz. A native New Yorker, he was born to businessman John Casablancas. His mother Jeanette Christiansen married a man who introduced him to the band the Doors, introducing him to rock music.
