Victor Frankenstein is a 2015 American science fantasy horror film based on contemporary adaptations of Mary Shelley 's 1818 novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus. It is directed by Paul McGuigan and written by Max Landis, and stars Daniel Radcliffe, James McAvoy, Jessica Brown Findlay, Andrew Scott, and Charles Dance.
