Cassandra Eleanor "Cassie" Lang is the daughter of Scott and Maggie Lang. Fascinated by the Quantum Realm, Lang invented the Quantum Satellite, which resulted in her, her father and the van Dyne family being shrunken deep into the Realm, being trapped in Axia.
Lang got the approval of Hank Pym to become the new Ant-Man, sending Cassie's life down a path populated by heroes of the super variety. She grew up hanging out in both the Baxter Building and Avengers Mansion!
Cassie Lang is a resilient superhero who, inspired by her father, becomes Stature and later Stinger to protect the world alongside the Young Avengers and other heroes. Cassie was born with a congenital heart defect, prompting her father, Scott Lang, to acquire Hank Pym's Ant-Man Suit to save her life.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the character was portrayed as a child by Abby Ryder Fortson in Ant-Man (2015) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), and as a teenager by Emma Fuhrmann in Avengers: Endgame (2019) and Kathryn Newton in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023).
