Torres has an unconfirmed 25 murders across Mexico in those 11 years - with the majority being rival cartel members. Torres would also allegedly torture his victims, rather than just kill them as he was ordered. As with a lot of the cartel-on-cartel crimes, nearly all of this is undocumented however.
13 de feb. de 2022 · Yesterday I watched a movie about doppelgangers called There Are Monsters and I thought it was really good, and it got me thinking of other movies about urban legends. The only other one I've seen that comes to mind is They Come Knocking, about the black eyed children, that surprised me at how good it was. Are there any notable entries I'm missing?
Not sure If this is an urban legend, but it's scary as hell (at least to me). my grandmother used to tell it to all the kids in the neighborhood. My very Greek grandmother was incredibly superstitious. She always told me, "whatever you do, never speak aloud in the dark". One time, I aksed why. "Because someone might just answer you" DAMN OK
27 de oct. de 2019 · Guide to Urban Legends in Each State. Charlie No Face is such a sad story :c iirc he got severe electrical burns as a young boy and that’s what caused his disfigurement. He took walks at night because he was so shy and self conscious but became a legend so people started bothering him.
10 de jun. de 2013 · Holy crap, I love urban legends and ghost stories. Here's one: A woman gets off work late and takes a jeep home. She is a little unnerved as she is the lone passenger but she's in a hurry to get home so she doesn't want to wait for another jeep. The driver keeps glancing at her through the rear view mirror.

Susana André's excellent book Mitos Urbanos e Boatos is a compilation of urban legends that made the rounds in Portugal's society during the early 2000's (the book was first published in 2010). It covers everything from internet-borne ghost stories, chain emails, jet-set rumours and so on.
9 de ene. de 2023 · Most of the stuff happens in the coliseum, but the fairgrounds is super creepy at night. All the building are super old with barely any lighting. Walking around the coliseum at night is very unsettling and fills you with dread. A worker fell from the the ceiling probably about 20 - 30 + years ago.
