I live on the east outskirts of London yet it thinks my nearest test server is Aberdeen / Edinburgh. If I go to edge, the home/start page which can be customised shows weather for Edinburgh! 20 de ene. de 2020 · Pinging speedtest.net from a Windows 10 command line shows pings of 26ms. The Windows 10 speedtest.net has been uninstalled and reinstalled several times, and the problem persists. The problem happens only with the Windows 10 speedtest.net app, and there are no problems. Speedtest.net has not responded to requests for help.
19 de jul. de 2018 · Finally found the solution in Firefox Quantum. Set browser.tabs.remote.autostart = false in about :config. Default is true. Apparently switches to single processor mode, which is better in less high spec systems. Difference is absolutely astonishing. Now getting 115 Mbps in speedtest.net instead of about 30.
