Jane Asher ( Londres, Inglaterra; 5 de abril de 1946) es una actriz británica de cine y televisión. Biografía. Jane Asher nació el 5 de abril de 1946 en Londres, Inglaterra. Hija del Dr. Richard Asher y de Margaret Eliot. Su padre era psiquiatra y estaba a cargo de tratar las enfermedades mentales en el Central Middlesex Hospital in Acton.
In 2006, Asher starred in the Richard Fell adaptation of the 1960s science fiction series A for Andromeda, which aired on the British digital television station BBC Four. In 2007, she portrayed the widow Sandra in the Frank Oz film Death at a Funeral. The same year Asher appeared in the BBC medical drama, Holby City as Lady Byrne.
