St Peter's High School and Sixth Form Centre is a Roman Catholic academy school and sixth form centre, on Stroud Road in the Tuffley area of Gloucester, England. [1] [2] The head teacher is Kevin McDermott.
St Peter’s is an exceptional community of extraordinary young people and adults working towards a common purpose. We are a Catholic educational community who work with parents to prepare their children for adulthood. Our motto is ‘tu es petrus’ (You are Peter).
St Peter’s is an exceptional community of extraordinary young people and adults working towards a common purpose. We follow a curriculum that is enriching and aspirational. Students of all abilities are taught by highly qualified and dedicated teachers.
We work with parents, carers and pupils to develop young people who are resilient & optimistic (who use & are reminded to use growth mindset when work is challenging). Our three-year KS3 builds on prior learning at KS2 and provides a broad curriculum.
Our mission is to provide a rigorous and broad education within the context of a Christian environment. An understanding of the Roman Catholic faith, in line with the Gospel message, underpins the whole work of the school.
