Mike Vernon is an English music executive and record producer who worked with many British blues artists and groups in the 1960s and 1970s. He also founded the Blue Horizon label and Chipping Norton Recording Studios, and received a BASCA Gold Badge Award and an MBE in 2013 and 2020.
Michael Vernon (born February 24, 1963) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender who played 19 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Calgary Flames, Detroit Red Wings, San Jose Sharks and Florida Panthers.

Founder of the Blue Horizon label (distributed through CBS and Polydor), owner of Brand New Productions and key producer for numerous British blues artists and groups during the late 1960s - particularly Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac and John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers.
Mike Vernon produced some of the greatest blues records of all time. A full decade after retiring, he's back in the studio with some of the British blues scene's brightest lights.
Esteemed producer & label founder. There are not many record producers whose credits include recording some of the all-time great artists like Eric Clapton (with the Bluesbreakers), David Bowie, John Mayall, Ten Years After, Peter Green, and of course Fleetwood Mac, but Mike Vernon is one.
