Holly and the Italians. In 1978, Vincent formed in Los Angeles the band Holly and the Italians with drummer Steve Young (aka Steve Dalton), whom she knew from high school. The new band moved to London in early 1979 and Vincent went to live with Knopfler.
Holly and the Italians is the first studio album released by the American singer Holly Beth Vincent as a solo artist, in 1982.

11 de may. de 2008 · It's only fitting that Holly Beth Vincent of Holly & the Italians would eventually make a record with Joey Ramone (the pair revisiting "I Got You Babe" on a 1982 single). In many ways, Vincent could have passed for Ramone's younger sister (or maybe a kissing cousin).
