Steve Khan (born April 28, 1947) is an American jazz guitarist and author born in Los Angeles, California. The son of lyricist Sammy Cahn, Steve Khan is best-known for his fusion records. He originally played piano and drums. In 1969, Khan moved to New York and worked steadily on jazz, pop, and R&B recordings.
A most romantic Bobby Hutcherson ballad " Bouquet " from his brilliant 1966 "HAPPENINGS" (Blue Note) album is the 4th Steve Khan solo from PATCHWORK (Tone Center). The song's performance, as a most rare bolero in 3/4, is highlighted by Rob Mounsey's gorgeous orchestral arrangement.

Steve Khan had worked with some of the biggest names in music; including Steely Dan, Blood Sweat and Tears, Billy Joel and Thijs Van Leer.
