Dot Allison will release new album ‘Consciousology’ on July 28th. The former One Dove singer and acclaimed solo artist took a decade out of music, before returning with her hypnotic 2021 full length ‘Heart-Shaped Scars’. Just two years later and she’s back, confirming news of an all-new LP.
An artist who always favoured the more spectral side of the spectrum, Dot Allison’s return is thrillingly Impressionistic. A hazy, Monet-esque layer of tones acts as her guide, but her first LP in 12 years is also shot through with riveting new ideas.
