Cecile Margot Lefort (née Gordon, 30 April 1899 – February 1945) served in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force (WAAF) and in France for the United Kingdom's clandestine Special Operations Executive (SOE) during the Second World War.
24 de feb. de 2023 · Cecily Lefort was a British-born Frenchwoman who served in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force and the Special Operations Executive during the Second World War. She was a courier for the Resistance, supplying weapons and equipment, and was captured and executed by the Gestapo in 1944.
24 de jul. de 2019 · On the night of 16/17 June she boarded a Lysander at RAF Tangmere in Sussex, bound for a landing field near Angers in north-western France. With her was Diane Rowden, Cecily Lefort and Charles Skeeper. These SOE agents were later captured by the Gestapo, tortured and executed.

Cicely Lefort passed through the SOE training schools towards the end of 1942 and was described by the training team as “Being very lady like and very English in spite of her French background.”
