Andy McCluskey is an English singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. He is best known as the lead singer and bass guitarist of the electronic band Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), which he founded in 1978.
Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) are an English electronic band formed on the Wirral, Merseyside, in 1978. The group consists of founding duo and principal songwriters Andy McCluskey (vocals, bass guitar) and Paul Humphreys (keyboards, vocals), along with Martin Cooper (keyboards, saxophone) and Stuart Kershaw (drums).
El grupo fue fundado en la ciudad de Meols, Merseyside, en 1978 por Andy McCluskey (voz principal y bajo eléctrico) y Paul Humphreys (sintetizador, coros y, ocasionalmente, voz).
