All Saints was first mentioned in the 13th Century, but when the church was rebuilt at the end of the 14th century, only the tower remained from that earlier building. The small adjacent parish of St Nicholas was added to All Saints in the Middle Ages - the renowned St Nicholas Bell Gabriel was salvaged to be hung in the Market Tower much later in history.

Hi, According to FamilySearch, Cheshire BTs record the burial of Hannah Attenbury on the 11th August 1859 at All Saints, Mobberley. But, so far as I can determine, there is only St. Wilfred's in Mobberley. Can anyone help locate this church please?

You'll gather this is the Orton near Appleby, going by thr name of the church, and technically in Westmorland, though you may well get a reply on this board from someone living near by, as opposed to St Giles Great Orton in what was formerly Cumberland, near Carlisle.

Hello, Would someone be able to check the records for All Saint's Church Cemetery, Loughborough to see if a Charlotte NORTH (nee CUMBERLAND) is buried there? I believe she and her husband James were both buried there along with other CUMBERLANDs. Charlotte died 1865 (born 1785). I have no date of death for James, however he was also born in 1785.
