La Mancomunidad de Naciones (en inglés, Commonwealth of Nations ), antes denominada Mancomunidad Británica de Naciones ( British Commonwealth of Nations ), es una organización compuesta por 56 países soberanos que, con la excepción de Togo, Gabón, Mozambique y Ruanda, 1 comparten lazos históricos con el Reino Unido.
La llamada Mancomunidad de Naciones nació de la lenta desintegración del Imperio Británico, que cubría una quinta parte de la superficie terrestre del mundo en su apogeo a finales del siglo XIX.
