Loxton, town, southeastern South Australia. It lies along the Murray River approximately 150 miles (240 km) east of Adelaide in the area known as the Riverland and is the service centre for an extensive irrigated fruit-raising area.
Loxton's Historical Village called 'The Village - Historic Loxton' takes you back to a time past. Setup as a village in the 1900's you can explore the different shops and services and image just what it was like. One of the Riverland's major tourist attractions.
