A Curious Feeling was made with Genesis live drummer Chester Thompson and ex-String Driven Thing vocalist Kim Beacon, with Banks playing the rest.
A Curious Feeling is the debut solo album from English keyboardist Tony Banks. It was recorded at ABBA 's Polar Music Studios during a brief hiatus for Banks's main group Genesis and released in 1979 on Charisma Records.
In reality, this is a solo project of Tony Banks, issued under a band's name. The other band's members were the singers Alistair Gordon and Jayney Klimek, predominantly on lead vocals. The latter of which, also appeared in Bank's next and fifth solo studio album "Still", released in 1992.
